A fine classic spiral, you say? Not a bit - or, not just that. This fractal has much more to offer than just a traditional recurring shape.

The prominent texturing of this image creates a new, most innovative concept of aestethics. The fractal's shape (the spiral) is no longer the leitmotif of the artistic work; the overall feeling is, and what this picture shows us is its progression toward the focal point. This effectively explains the title, and gives it a powerful meaning: I want to Know my Fate is a walk toward the core, the very meaning of one's life.

There's also a surprising resemblance between this work and a work by a very well known painter: Van Gogh. And the work would be Starry Night. The spiralling winds in his painting have almost the exact same twist as this fractal would have if flipped horizontally; the brush strokes are also very alike to this fractal's textures, and the colour scheme used is also almost the same in both works.

What =DothackersDaichi did was much more than show us a classic fractal: be it consciously or subconsciously, he expressed the will to grow both as a person and an artist; which is also the same Van Gogh himself did in regards of Impressionism: he went beyond visual caption to create a completely new kind of artistic sensibility, much closer to the heart of mankind.
