I have a feeling that this is not going to be a very critical critique. This style of fractal (which I can best describe as "graphic design-y") is one that I particularly admire because I am not very good at it myself.

I can't really find any advice to give, so I'll just go over in detail why this fractal works so well.

The shading. Overall this is a very flat fractal, but it is kept from being too flat by the way the different sections are shaded. This is especially obvious is the triagular stairs/vortex area, but it also present more subtly throughout the image. For instance, the darker orange piece in the upper left looks like it is below the other two orange pieces, and the two large blue pieces on the right edge look like layered pieces of paper.

The textures. Your textures are ALWAYS good but here you specifically did a good job by making them lighter than usual as to not overpower the bold geometric structure.

Composition. What a nice balance between line segments and arcs! My eye moves across the plane as if the image is unfolding before me. There is a focal point, but it is not heavy enough to distract. The rest of the image seems like a natural extension of that focal point.

This is one of those fractals that holds my attention for a very long time despite being rather simple in forms. It's quite a feat.
