No matter how many times I try to join a dA chatroom, I always get this string of errors:
Flash is on, adblock is off for chat.deviantart.com/* and so is Ghostery.
I was able to join randomly the other day, but since then, failures.

So, what happened to the comments on dA?
I've been noticing that deviantART has been awfully quiet over the past two years I've been back. I remember 2010-2014 era deviantART where an upload could easily reach +10 comments on a slow day, but now in 2022, people just silently favouriting pieces without much feedback. I know that the Eclipse update basically murdered inter-community interaction by killing off all previously fondly used features like the chat and neglecting the forums and user groups, but I didn't expect it to be this barren. dA staff have tried to implement those frankly insulting pre-generated comment suggestions, and is therefore aware of the problem, but the approach is at best tone deaf. So, what do you guys think about it? Any other dA oldies who have anything to say about this?
[NFT disaster] So, it finally happened...
Someone stole my art and turned it into an NFT. I've been notified by dA that one of my most popular pieces, Undone, has been minted for sale on OpenSea for about $260. If anyone knows how to get this taken down, please do tell me. Any help would be lovely. Thank you, everyone!

Hey guys. Well, maybe guy and a half out there that still read journal updates. So, it seems like I stuck around for longer than I expected, and I've had one hell of an artistic output recently. I hope you guys have enjoyed the off-the-wall UltraFractal stuff I've posted recently! Personally, I thought I would maybe squeeze out like one or two pieces and then fade back into the background noise, but I'm having a really fun time playing with UltraFractal again after all of these years. Anyway, anyone knows what's left of the fractal community here on dA? Since Eclipse and the removal of gallery categories and the gimping of groups, my outreach hasn't been as easy as I expected it to be, so it would be nice to get pointed in the right direction.
So, I guess I'm back again, for a little while.
Let's catch up a little. So, as a lot of you might have noticed and then long forgotten, today marks my first upload in just a little over 4 years.
A lot of things have happened, and I ended up in a spot where making art made me feel sick to the stomach, and I literally couldn't push myself to do anything in UltraFractal. The parameter pack I uploaded for you guys to use was supposed to be my Swansong to the community, but I guess that there is still a little life back in me to start to create again.
My output won't be anywhere near what it was before, and some of the stuff I'll upload might seem repetitive and stale, but remember that I'm

If you didn't try, they have been working again for a couple of years now, e.g. chat.deviantart.com/chat/thumb… is fairly active.
